Basically in more detail this plugin delivers functionality to the user by enabling multiple features that make it way cooler and nicer aswel as easier to manage their amusement park or anything like that.
this includes a thirst system ticket system trains and a rollercoaster system aswell as the attraction mechanics show and restaurant support and much much more!

The thirst system. an advanced system which will let the user require to drink once in a while. You can drink up to 199% (visible in XP Bar) once above you die of drowning. You will get messages and updates in chat showing what happens with your thirst. if you do not drink you cannot ride any attraction that has a ticket machine aswel as faint as soon as the counter hits 0 when you faint everything becomes black and you cannot move for 30 seconds after that you have 30 seconds to drink or it will repeat!

A Ticket system is basicly a way for players to pay for a ride or access to a special area. there are ticket dispensers where players can buy tickets for attractions or they can use the mobile app but then they have to pay twice the amount that a ticket costs. you can as a park owner also giveout goldentickets that will give access to all attactions for a certain amount of uses. This system includes : ticket ATM , Ticket Validator , Basic ticket , golden ticket , ticket app

Show System

Show System

The show system is made to give shows in parks. the system will enable you to create a show and show the status from that show on unlimited signs it has 3 states playing ended and timed basicly timed enables you to add a countdown that shows on the sign when the countdown completes it changes to playing! the show system also adds the firework display and can be connected to eachother

well in the modern world we all have one. a smartphone well this plugin adds one to the game with All plugin features on it! you can use it to see attraction and show states aswell as restaurants and facilities It also includes a package delivery service for VIPs and a online ticket buying system even the staff can use it to manage the park because there is a app for manager,engineer and security!

Attraction System

Attraction System

the attractions are the most important part of a park. thats why there are a ton of features in this module. Your can toggle the state open/closed/maintenance. Depending on the state gates open or close and if thats not enough you can set a sign showing the status with customizeable text on first thirt and fourth line. this system connects with the ticket system so the ticket system knows there is a ticket needed. the attraction needs a management position where your staff can teleport too to manage the attraction.

Restaurant System

This system adds itself to the attraction system. but when toggled to a restaurant it shows itself differently. For example the status is shown as food and you cannot buy tickets for this. its a very handy feature because then players can find a place to eat and drink to restore their needs!

Trains and Rollercoasters

this is .. cool! it adds a lock so players cannot leave a minecart until they are pushed out by a ejector block. Also it has a station that pushes you driving when you enter and stops it when its empty! the trains are basicly the same but has to be added seperately when they move they load chunks if one train comes close to one other the other one starts driving even without passenger!

Park Roles

The plugin includes instead of many perm nodes some basic ones that combine to a role! it includes : Park Owner , Park Manager , Park Security , Park Engineer and VIPs. They work using a single permission each. even so when its enabled it works together with the chat management!

i call it a firewall because it just does that just like a firewall. its important that you can close or open the park. When its closed the wall turns on and pushes back players that try to walk over it! It works together with the security role so if someone has a penalty to pay they cannot enter.

The chatmanager can be toggled. it adds prefixes to the players based on permnodes. so if you have park manager it shows that. it also combines multiple ranks together. for example. parkmanager and security stacks one tag is shortened and then placed against the other tag and then both are added to the user. This system updates at every chat message!

Strange title? well its not! This plugin includes a load of menus (Unlimited). for the attractions and restaurants there is a teleport menu. and for the shows their own menu showing the status! there is a management menu where managers can tp to the management locations from the attractions aswell as a security menu. there is a VIP menu where a vip can claim a free gift every day! And of course the ticket menus both the ticket atm and the mobile app. Even the mobile phone has a menu!

Many commands in this plugin are commandblock ready. Which means that you can execute them using a commandblock. For example the Manager lounge can be used using commandblocks! This way you can make control rooms to control everything!

Some amusement parks have different themes for the parks sections. This system adds that! The park zones can be paired to existing and new attractions/shows/facilities/restaurants defining their zone. This way its visible to the users in the GUI

Help Center

MCG park Manager AFTER 4.0 update

  1. do /park
  2. When thats done click ADMIN
  3. When you just opened the admin gui click create attraction.
  4. Follow on screen instructions
  5. Use the hotbar items to create all configuration for the attraction the ticket checking machine must be placed down.
  6. to add a gate simply hit a OAK fencegate with the gate adder item.
  7. To add a sign simply hit the WALL SIGN with the sign setting item.

here are some tips to get you started more quickly!

  • when you just created the attraction first close then reopen the attraction to update the status sign and gates and to test if everything is working like its suppose too!
  • if your attraction doesnt need management simply put the management position at the entrance of the attraction like where you created the attraction at first!
  • to edit an attraction use the same admin GUI but click edit attraction instead of create and then enter the exact name.
  1. First off do the command /park
  2. Next click ADMIN
  3. now on the bottom right you have Create show click that
  4. now stand on the position for the show and type a name in chat make sure its a different name then any other show!
  5. Use the hotbar items to set showsigns
  6. when done hit the air with the complete show item to save its now ready to be used!

here are some tips to get you started!

  • never make 2 shows with the same name!
  • never select a single sign for 2 shows it causes glitches in the updates
  • if you just added a show with its signs its always handy to start and stop the show to see if all signs get updated!
  • Take a note the shows are controllable by park owner and managers but only the owner can add shows!
  1. first off go to the point where you want the firework to be launching from.
  2. place a temporairly block and stand on it while looking at it.
  3. do /park config fwpoint add (it will create a launchpoint at your current location)
  4. to remove a point do the same command at that same position
  5. and your done adding a point do the same steps again to add more points.

starting shows?

  1. first off if you wanna start a fireworkshow you must know how long it will stay active you need to check ingame and try different amounts of loops to set the correct time (the time it takes depends on howmany points and the tps of the server)
  2. when you want to start the show directly with lets say 50 loops
  3. do /park fwstart 50 true
  4. when you want to start the show in 5 minutes for 50 loops
  5. do /park fwstart 50
  6. as simple as that the show does the rest!

Starting the firework show more easy!

  1. Simply start the firework show using the show management GUI
  2. first open the park menu (/park)
  3. then click parkapp
  4. then click staff
  5. then click manager
  6. then click manage shows and then fireworkshow
  7. now click start or settime (depending on your needs) note that settime only supports default time for this show!

here are some tips to get you started!

  • do not place 2 fireworkpoints at the same location
  • for more effect place flowing water on the spot the fireworks launch from this will redirect the firework rockets randomly sideways
  • do not launch fireworks until at least 1 point is set!
  • you can add as many points as you like but remember it doesnt work on unloaded chunks so if a show is busy and the chunk loads it starts then at that location and it doesnt play on that location if that location is in a unloaded chunk
  1. To manage the shows open the show management app to do this
  2. open the phone by using /park
  3. then click parkapp
  4. then click staff
  5. then click manager
  6. and then click manage shows

here are some tips to get you started!

  • the best thing to do with shows is announcing them way before it happens or doing it on static times so that players know its gonna happen
  • Note that the firework show is already build into the GUI making it more easy to use!
  1. do /park
  2. click parkapp
  3. click staff
  4. click manager
  5. click manage attractions
  6. then click the attraction you wanna manage
  7. to open/close an attraction use the same manager gui but then click open/close attractions

here are some tips to get you started!

  • if an attraction needs a manager to work close the attraction when there is no manager available to manage it
  • the maintenance mode is handy to show players it will open soon after some repairs or changes you can also use that status in upcoming attractions
  • not all attractions need a management position like said in the attraction creation tutorial basicly set it to the entrance to disable the management position
  • is this a restaurant and not a attraction? simply enter the attraction editmode (as described above) and toggle the restaurant tag.

there are not many things that needs a structure here are the instructions:

For a Ticket ATM:

first place a sign with the following text on it:
[ticketatm]
then place a lapis block on top of that and on top of the lapis block a dropper.
Facing the way you want. then it works.

For the ticket checking machine (OLD WAY):

first place a sign with the following text on it:
ATNAME
0
you have to replace the atname with the exact name (case sensitive) of the attraction
when you did that place a lapis block on top of the sign and on top of the lapis block a dispenser facing the way you want.
Now it works!

For the ticket checking machine (NEW WAY):

enter attraction edit mode and place the ticket checking machine item on the place you want the machine to be!
And it does all the work for you including basic gates

for the park firewall:

simply put a sign with the text [parksecurity].
on top of that put a redstone block.
Make sure players cannot jump over it!

here are some tips to get you started!

  • ticket machines can also be for fastpasses your choice to let peeps pay for every attraction or provide 2 entrances 1 for ticket holders and 1 without!
  • build the ticket machines in the most obvious places to make them findable!
  • keep in mind the ticket checking machine updates all redstone blocks in  8 block radius be warned not to use redstone blocks in the near area if not for the gate

the security features are put in a single menu accessable from your ingame smartphone!

when you click the security app close the window and type the player name (case sensitive) in chat.

now you can do the following:

  1. kick a player out of the park and let them pay 100 money before he can enter again.
  2. empty its inventory
  3. give the player penalties without kicking him out of the park so next time he has to enter the park he has to pay.
  4. pardon a player (all outstanding penalties are removed)
  5. kick a player out of the park so he must walk in again

 

here are some tips to get you started!

  • a shortcut to the security menu is still accessable by using /security name where name is the name of the player.
  • all penalties stack so if he has 100 standing and you give him another he has to pay 200
  • note that the inventory clear function is not reversible!

so you wanna close the park?

 

open the phone by doing /park

then click admin and on the bottom you can toggle the  open/close state!

note that only the parkowner can execute these!

WARNING! WHEN YOU CLOSE THE PARK ALL GUESTS AND STAFF ARE TELEPORTED TO THE SPAWN OF THE SERVER!

here are some tips to get you started!

  • when the park is completely broken its better to close the park and rebuild then to keep it open!
  • when there is an emergency like hackers or cheaters destroying the park its best to close the park it will teleport everyone out to the spawn and then nobody can see the damage anymore beside the persons with creative and such duh…

the manager home system is basicly a staff lodge for park managers.
You can use this to let them teleport to a building where they find tutorials or buttons or anything else to use this do:

/park mspawn set (set the staff lodge)
/park mspawn setexit (set the exit of the lodge)

to use these either put it in a commandblock or execute it by hand:

/park mspawn go [name] (when using it yourself leave the name if used in a commandblock  put the @p there)

/park mspawn exit [name] (same as go but the other way around so it brings you to the exit)

here are some tips to get you started!

  • always use a lodge here parkmanagers can rest have some fun and such without all players around
  • the manager lodge is the best place to put instructions how to use commands for the parkmanagers
  • the manager lodge can be anywhere on the world with the park search for an easy to find place but out of sight from the players

to answer the second question first no you do not need extra ranks for this it can use any existing ranks or even not a rank at all… (like a player permission)

for the permission nodes here is a list:

  • parkmanager.manager (gives parkmanager)
  • parkmanager.owner (is the park owner)
  • parkmanager.engineer (gives the parkengineer)
  • parkmanager.security (makes you a security officer)
  • parkmanager.vip (makes you a vip with benefits)

here are some tips to get you started!

  • always give yourself (server owner) the owner permission to interact and set everything needed
  • only give the engineer rank to those who may build and destroy stuff otherwise your park may be at risk (only needed when the anti grief shield is active *comingsoon*)
  • the vip rank is awesome for donators isnt it?
  • the parkmanager can manage attractions and shows keep that in mind so people who only do shows do not need that rank just let your parkmanagers guide them.
  • park security is an important thing but only give this rank to people you trust otherwise they can screw your visitors up.

The Show Builder is findable using the Smartphones admin menu.
simply open it and you can create edit and delete shows.
Click create and then enter a name in the chat.
if that name is available you get into the editor directly.
From there you can manage effects the timeline and showblocks.

Showblocks:
First start off by creating show blocks.
you do that by clicking add showblocks button.
You will get a special block in your inventory now place that block where you want a showblock to be. a showblock is where effects will launch from.
When holding shift and scroll you can change the channel the showblock is on to connect more showblocks to the same launch.
For example :
Channel 1 : first row of showblocks
Channel 2 Second row of showblocks

and so on.
that way you can create animations like you want it too!

Note that every time the channel number gets higher it creates another channel in the configuration files so do not Scroll like to 900 without using them.

When ur done Shift Place the block down it will end the showblock adding mode.

Effects:
Now next is to plan how you want the show to look. what colors what effects and such.
When ur done planning click the create effect button. now type the effect  type in chat.
for example fw is for fireworks.
When u have done that it opens the creation gui simply play with the settings you want for example the firework creator allows all options to be changed by simply clicking the option in the gui!

now repeat this progress for all effects and colors you want it to be!

Timeline Editor:

when ur done with that click the timeline editor.

it contains 3 rows the first row is the time and channel selection aswell as saving and deleting.

the second row are the effects you created to be used in this show.

the third row are the effects for that second and that channel on that second

so if you add for example launch blue fireworks on channel 1 and second 1 then it will do that and if you change channel to 2 on second 1 it will launch different effects from those showblocks on the same second!

keep on adding stuff (Again do not add more channels or seconds if you are NOT using them)

it will make the show as long as the max seconds was in the gui.

if you are done click the save button if you made to much mistakes you can also press the clear button to delete the whole timeline and start over.

thats it the show is ready to be launched! the rest is the same as the normal shows!

here are some tips to get you started!

  • If you added by mistake the wrong effect to the timeline click the effect you want to remove on the 3th row it will remove it from the show at that second and channel
  • If you wanna launch multiple firework rockets at the same channel and second simply add it multiple times to the timeline
  • The shows can be started using the show builder Gui or the normal show management commands they cant however be deleted using normal show commands and must be deleted from the show builder gui!
  • Be sure to make a backup from your shows folder every now and then to prevent loss of show data when the server crashes or something else..
  • You need park owner to make shows using the showbuilder

MCG park Manager Prior to 4.0 update

  1. do /park create NAME (where name is the name of the attraction)
  2. When thats done create oak wood fence gates where the entrance is.
  3. After that create a sign at the entrance to show the status you can put whatever information on line 1 3 and 4 (keep line 2 empty)
  4. Now look at the first gate you placed make sure you are looking at it and at least are 2 blocks away from it.
  5. do /park config agate add NAME (where name  is the attraction name)
  6. (REPEAT step 4 and 5 for each extra gate you have!)
  7. Now look at the sign you placed keep at least 2 blocks distance and make sure you are looking directly at the sign.
  8. do /park config asign set NAME (where name is the attraction name)
  9. last thing to do is setting the management position for this you need the attraction ID you got that id when you created the attraction at the first command. (if you do not have that anymore do /park list)
  10. now stand where the managers can manage the attraction.
  11. do /park config mpos set ATNUMBER (where atnumber is the attraction id)
  12. now you are done adding the attraction!

here are some tips to get you started more quickly!

  2. place signs where you want to show the status of the show these can be as many as you want. (do not use a sign that has data already as it will be overwritten)
  3. after you placed the signs stand 2 blocks away from the first sign and look at the sign.
  4. do /shows addsign NAME (where name is the name of the show) make sure there is 2 blocks distance between you and the sign
  5. if its correct you should see awaiting data now repeat step 3 and 4 for every sign you placed that requires to have the status on it from this show.
  6. when done do /shows updatesigns NAME (where name is the name of the show)
  7. if everything is setup correct the signs should show the name of the show.
  8. and ur done the show is ready to be used!

here are some tips to get you started!

  • If you wanna launch multiple firework rockets at the same channel and second simply add it multiple times to the timeline
  • The shows can be started using the show builder Gui or the normal show management commands they cant however be deleted using normal show commands and must be deleted from the show builder gui!
  • Be sure to make a backup from your shows folder every now and then to prevent loss of show data when the server crashes or something else..
